The ruling party on the country, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has given its reaction to the threats made by the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, that any foreigner who dares to intervene in Nigeria’s forthcoming elections will go back in “body bags”.

It noted that it backed the declaration “as regards any country that thinks we are a colony; that we have a right to defend every inch of this country; and we are not a banana republic.”

“That is exactly what Governor Elrufai has said. The PDP can twist it the way they want. Governor Elrufai never said people should not come and observe or monitor elections. And he was not referring to people who are genuinely coming to monitor and observe the elections.
“Nigerians also go to other countries as monitors and observers. So that is acceptable to us, we welcome peer review. What we don’t welcome and what is unacceptable to us is any country thinking we are a colony, we are not. We are a sovereign nation.”

Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai (born 16 February 1960) is a Nigerian politician who is the incumbent Governor of Kaduna State, Nigeria. He was the former Director General of Bureau of Public Enterprises, the head of privatisation agency in Nigeria. He was the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja from 16 July 2003 to 29 May 2007.

I’m the co-founder of JustCBD label (justcbdstore.com) and I’m presently planning to develop my wholesale side of company. I am hoping anybody at targetdomain can help me ! I considered that the most effective way to do this would be to reach out to vape companies and cbd retail stores. I was hoping if someone could suggest a qualified website where I can purchase Vape Shop Sales Leads I am already taking a look at creativebeartech.com, theeliquidboutique.co.uk and wowitloveithaveit.com. Not sure which one would be the very best choice and would appreciate any advice on this. Or would it be much simpler for me to scrape my own leads? Ideas?

A former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has said that his party will respond accordingly if the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, decides to turn the September 19 governorship election into violence.

The former governor said the APC would not fold its arms and watch the governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki and the PDP violently steal the peoples’ mandate.

Appearing on Arise Television on Monday, Oshiomhole averred: ‘’We will meet violence with violence.’’

Oshiomhole was reacting to the governor’s alleged threat to deal with APC members and supporters in the guise of dealing with trouble makers.

Recall that Governor Obaseki had earlier warned of stiff penalties against perpetrators of violence in the State.

Reacting to Obaseki’s threat, Oshiomhole said: ‘’if they want violence, we will give them violence.’’

Oshiomhole further explained that, among other things, he turned against his successor because the governor has not met the expectations of Edo people and regretted that he worked with Obaseki in 2016 without asking for his certificate.

Oshiomhole had earlier declared that Obaseki does not pose any threat to the APC candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the forthcoming governorship election.

Addressing the party faithful on Sunday, Oshiomhole said that Obaseki is not even eligible to contest for the election.
