4 ‘hidden’ tricks in WhatsApp

4 ‘hidden’ tricks in WhatsApp

Article Image

In today’s world, everyone with a smartphone has access to WhatsApp

. It is one of the major communication channels across the world.

. Here are four tricks you didn’t about in WhatsApp

1. Chat without typing

With advancement in technology, WhatsApp now has complete integration with personal assistants like Siri and Google Assistant, which means you can verbally dictate to your phone and send messages without touching your phone. What you have to for you to use the service is activate your voice assistant after which you are good to go.

2. Create GIFs and send them

You can now create and send reaction gifs on WhatsApp just like in any other messenger app. They do a very nice job of keeping it hidden.

But it is plugged at the very lower part of the emoji menu where there is a link to gain access to Giphy’s full library. What is even superb, is if you are importing a video into WhatsApp and then cut it down to a small size say than 5 seconds, it turns automatically into a GIF, making it more ideal for creating the gifs in just about every situation that needs it.

3. Creating your own digital notebook

It is a bit of small hackery, but a little like Slack. You can easily open up a place for yourself to store and transfer notes, files, and about everything else without bothering about Dropbox, Bluetooth or emails.

Just tap on group chats with the other person, remove them and you will have a little corner of the internet all by yourself. WhatsApp provides you with voice recording. You can record your notes into it.

4. Getting rid of the blue ticks

Among the hidden beauties of WhatsApp is in the privacy settings where lies the decision to turn off or read receipts. This helps you to avoid complains of people who get irked by long seen periods without replying to them.

Airtel Double Data Promo/ Offer For Old SIM

How i Got 23GB For Just N1,000 Valid For 2 Months

Ntel Nigeria is at it again, at first this may look unreal but trust me it is real and it’s no cheat, it’s an offer from NTel WaWu SIM promo.

NTel 4G LTE works on only 4G enabled devices such as 4G enabled smartphones (android, iPhone iOS, Windows) and 4G Mifi. This is cool right ! So if you’ve got one of those devices, this post is for you.

bout NTel 1k For 23GB

NTelWaWu SIM Promo gives all NTel subscribers who purchase the WaWu SIM free 10GB plus extra 1GB plus additional 12GB on subscription of at least N1000. WaWu SIM has a 500% bonus on its voice and data plan so go to the nearest NTel shop close to you and get your WaWu SIM ASAP. NTel does not “Zap” data, so you are safe! Lol

✓ 4G LTE enabled device

How does WaWu SIM work

Remember, the only requirement is having a 4G enabled device that supports the NTel 4G band coverage and N1500. Having a 4G enabled device isn’t enough, it must support NTel 4G band else NTel SIM won’t work on your device.

Note : NTel 4G band is band 1800 , read this article to know about 4G LTE bands to know if your 4G device is compatible.

If you have the compatible NTel device,

1. Walk into any NTel office or shop (Lagos, Portharcourt, Abuja) close to you and order for NTel WaWu SIM (Remember to go with a valid ID card for NTel SIM registration as mandated by NCC). I did mine at NTel shop Abule Egba, Ikeja just opposite Jubilee bridge.

2. You will be registered afterwards given 2 NTel SIM – one SIM will have free 1GB data which is valid for 48 hours and another SIM with 10GB data valid for for 30 days making it a total of 11GB).

Thats not all, remember I told you 23GB for 1K  not 10GB or 11GB for 1k, so where is the remaining 12GB?

3. You now have a total of 11GB valid for the first 30days leaving the NTel shop, remember i you also paid 1k for data activation. The 1k will reflect in your NTel account balance and remain untouched even when they have given you free 11GB. With this extra 1k, you can subscribe to NTel data plan of 2GB for 1k valid for another 30days which will give you 12GB because the additional 500% data bonus for WaWu SIM will be applied.

So you’ve got 11GB plus additional 12GB, all for just 1k and valid for 30 plus 30 days which equals 1month, all for just 1k or say N1500 ( if you add up money for the SIM card purchase)

NTel Network Coverage

NTel has coverage in just 3 cities in Nigeria namely Abuja, Lagos and Portharcourt. You can download the NTel app to see coverage

Note: This WaWu SIM promo of 23GB is currently available for only Lagos residents only, hopefully this will be extended to other cities across Nigeria

NTel android app

Just goto Google playstore and download myntel app for adroid or apple store for iOS and download the NTel app

✓NTel WaWu SIM gives 23GB for 1k

✓ Check to see if your phone is 4G enabled (band 1800)

✓ Buy the WaWu SIM for official price of N380 ( most sell it for N500)

✓ Activate WaWu SIM by recharging N1,000

✓ 2 SIM cards with 1GB and 10GB will be given to you (1GB SIM valid for 48hrs and the other 10GB SIM which is the main SIM is valid for 30day. The 1GB SIM will stop working after 48hours but the 10GB SIM will work “forever”)

✓ After the first 30days when your 11GB expires, you use the 1k in your NTel account balance to subscribe to 2GB for 1k which gives 500% data bonus of 12GB for same 1k.

✓ Download the NTel app from you respective app store to check data or airtime balance and also to do subscription and so much more.

Apart from this promo, NTel also has cheap internet data plans including unlimited data for as low as N500 which I will be writing on next so go get you NTel SIM now.
