Real Madrid will have to pay a huge amount to sign forward, Eden Hazard, away from Premier League giants, this summer.

The Spanish giants are eyeing Hazard as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, who after nine years, left the Santiago Bernabeu for Juventus in an £88million deal last summer.

According to Belgian outlet, HLN, Chelsea wants at least £98.5million for Hazard after rejecting Real Madrid’s opening for the 28-year-old.

Hazard is a huge admirer of Zidane as a coach and named the French legend as his idol growing up.

The Belgium international has so far refused to sign a new long-term deal with Chelsea as he enters the final 12 months of his current contract at Stamford Bridge.

The English Premier League is one of the most followed leagues in modern-day world football.

Just like any league, their managers are tasked with getting the best out of players and delivering results at the end of the season.

As such, it’s no surprise that top managers from the league are some of the highest-paid across all major leagues.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola leads the standings in England, followed by Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino.

manager Frank Lampard is not among the top five, with the likes of Pellegrini and Solskjaer ahead of him.

10 highest-paid Premier League managers

  • Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) – £20 million
  • Mauricio Pochettino (Tottenham) – £8.5 million
  • Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (Manchester United) – £7.5 million
  • Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool) – £7.5 million
  • Manuel Pellegrini (West Ham) – £7 million
  • Ralph Hasenhuttl (Southampton) – £6 million

EPL: Arsenal set to bring in three-time Champions League winner Arsenal logo 1024x576

Arsenal have made a bid for a Real Madrid winger, Lucas Vazquez, ahead of the January transfer window.

However, El Desmarque reports that the Gunners face stiff competition from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen.

Vazquez’s future seems to be away from the Bernabeu, with Brazilian forwards Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. set to be given more opportunities in the first-team.

Arsenal would see an ideal alternative for Vazquez, who has won three Champions League with Real.

The 28-year-old would provide competition in the attacking positions for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Nicolas Pepe and promising youngsters Reiss Nelson, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka.
