Results for UTME – Monitoring Thread

We expect the release of 2019 UTME results to begin any moment soon. If you want to know if the 2019 JAMB Result for your day or schedule has been released, this is the right thread to check. The 2019 UTME results for each day of the exam should be available 2 to 3 days after the exams have been taken as it was last year.

This thread will help us monitor the release status of various results for different days. Obviously, JAMB will not announce every time they release a batch of results, so this will be the best avenue to know when the results  have been released.

Below are dates for each of the days and the status of the results;

11th April Results – No Results Yet
12th April Results – No Results Yet
13th April Results – No Results Yet
15th April Results – No Results Yet
16th April Results – No Results Yet
17th April Results – No Results Yet
18th April Results – No Results Yet

When you see “No Results Yet”, it means the results for that day have not yet been released and have not been confirmed by any candidate.

But when you see “Results are Out”, it means the results have been released by JAMB and it has been confirmed by several candidates. But don’t forget that JAMB may also be releasing the results of a particular day in batches or after Malpractice Investigation is completed for particular centres.

We will be updating the above STATUS  based on official announcement from JAMB or verified via candidates comments.

So please, feel free to let us know if your result has been released by JAMB, and WHAT DAY YOU WROTE, so we can update the status above.

All candidates are advised to check the comment section of this thread regularly to know when their results have been released.

BREAKING: Public, private schools remain closed – Lagos

The Lagos State Government has announced that private and public schools remain closed in the state .
The Lagos State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso , announced this on Sunday .
He had earlier tweeted that only public schools remained closed in the state before giving an update that the extended closure includes private schools .
Omotoso also announced that curfew time had been reviewed in the state .
He said, “ The curfew in Lagos State has been reviewed . Restriction time is now 8 pm to 6 am. Lagosians are enjoined to plan their journey times as they go about their lawful businesses .
“ All schools remain shut till further notice .
When contacted on the telephone , the Head of Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Education , Kayode Abayomi, added, “ Yes, all schools remain closed . That is the latest update from the governor .”
Earlier on Sunday , the National Association of Private Schools in Lagos State informed its members that they can reopen from Monday , October 26 , 2020 .
This was contained in a statement by the President , NAPPS Lagos State , Amusa Olawale , titled reopening of schools after # EndSARS protests ’.
The statement read, “ It is a pleasure to inform you that our Hon . Commissioner has given approval to the resumption of schools on Monday , October 26 , 2020 .
“ Members are to abide by the curfew requirements and any other directives of Lagos State Governor relating curfew and # ENDSARS protests .
“ We must equally study security situations in areas where we operate , be sensitive to any sign of disturbance , and adhere strictly to COVID -19 Protocols .
“ To justify the kind gestures of the Commissioner, we must pay attention to the safety of our learners , staff, and parents of our schools . ”
The Lagos State Government had ordered the closure of public and private schools in the state indefinitely last Monday .
Adefisayo said schools were shut down over “ tension generated by the anti -SARS protests . ”
The PUNCH reports that academic activities were affected in some schools in the state on Monday as protests against police brutality and bad governance continue .
The PUNCH gathered that many students and teachers encountered difficulty in getting to schools in the state last Monday

Oyo reopens schools Monday

The Oyo State Governor , Seyi Makinde , has directed schools in Ibadan , the state capital, to resume normal academic activities from Monday , October 26 , 2020 .
This was contained in a press statement on Sunday by the Commissioner for Education , Science and Technology , Olasunkanmi Olaleye .
The statement was titled ‘ Oyo reopens schools in Ibadan after # EndSARS protests ’ .
The statement quoted the governor as saying the reopening followed a review of the situation in Ibadan metropolis .
The statement read, “ His Excellency , Governor Seyi Makinde , directed the closure of schools in Ibadan metropolis on Tuesday , 20 th of October, 2020 , following the # EndSARS protests that rocked the state .
“ His Excellency had , in a message to the people of Oyo State, stated that the situation will be reviewed on Friday , 23 rd October, 2020 .Following a review of the situation as earlier promised, the state government is happy to observe that normalcy has returned to the state in the aftermath of the protests .
“ His Excellency , Governor Makinde , appreciates the youths who have been cooperating with security operatives to maintain peace , while assuring them that their demands are being addressed.
