And with the players either on holiday or involved with their respective national teams at international competitions, Sarri got the chance to sit down and answer some questions, including what his experience in the Premier League was like and how it helped his managerial ability.

“I think it was a really important experience for me because I had to chance language, the football, mentality, the culture,” Sarri said to the club website. “It’s not easy but at the end you go to work in a wonderful championship [the Premier League].”

Sarri, who endured a strained relationship with Chelsea fans, went on to comment on the English top-flight’s quality. “The Premier League, at the moment, is difficult – it’s the most important,” said the 60-year-old manager who eventually left Blues fans happy after winning the 2019 Europa League title.

“Going abroad was a decision that I thought about for a while and after doing it I realised that it was an extraordinary experience,” he said. “It’s clear that in this moment the Premier League is the best league in the world in terms of visibility and the technical level is very high, with great facilities.”

He added: “The atmosphere in the stadiums is fantastic, the fans all go together to the stadiums all showing their support in their numbers, with children and families all around the benches.”

Juve’s manager also said: “The league is very strong and we have to catch up to them and hopefully we can close the gap and get back to where we [the Serie A] were 20 years ago, where our league was the reference point for football across the world.”

Sarri went on to reveal Serie A still has an advantage over the Premier League, saying: “However, we [the Serie A] still have a small advantage, which is the organisation of the clubs and the organisation from a tactical and technical point of view, where we still can give something more.”

Having said that, Sarri still believes an important factor could see Serie A fall far behind the Premier League if it is not addressed. “If the gap becomes bigger from an economical point of view it’s clear that it will be impossible to reach them,” he declared.

Lionel Messi was reported on Thursday to be planning to leave Barcelona in 2021 , but Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane was hoping the Argentine maestro will stay in Spain .
Messi ’s current contract expires next year and he has halted negotiations due to frustrations with the direction of the club, said Spanish radio station Cadena Ser .
Barca sits second in La Liga with five games left, four points behind Real Madrid , who edged past Getafe 1 -0 on Thursday to put the title within their grasp.

“I don ’t know what will happen but we hope not because he is in this league and we want the best in this league, ” said Real coach Zidane afterwards , when asked about the possibility of Messi leaving .
Messi said in February he did not believe Barcelona could win the Champions League on current form.
The 33 – year -old has also had disagreements with the board , reacting publicly when sporting director Eric Abidal appeared to blame the players for the sacking of Ernesto Valverde in January.
Barcelona ’s presidential elections are due to be held in 2021 when current president Josep Maria Bartomeu will have to step aside.
Among those set to run against Bartomeu ’s successor is Victor Font , who wants to appoint Messi ’s former team – mate Xavi Hernandez as a coach .

The highest paid footballers in la liga

Published

on

Football is well known as the biggest sport in the world. Not only does it have the highest number of fans and viewers worldwide, Football is also a very rich sport in general.

There are football clubs worldwide worth billions of dollars which shows the financial power of the sport in general.

Now as you can tell, these clubs are very financially stable so just imagine what our favourite players are earning on a yearly or even a weekly basis.

Have you ever wondered just how much some of these footballers get in form of weekly wages?.

The List

In this post, I’ll be talking about the wages of the highest paid La liga(Spanish league) players and what makes them so unique.

La liga is one of the biggest football leagues in the world at club level so you can expect that their players also earn a hefty sum.

💸5: Luis Suarez

Liverpool legend as well as definitely a Barcelona legend, Suarez has had a dream career so far in every team he has played in.

His goal statistics for both club and country are impeccable and he is well known as one of the best strikers in the world.

He has also won almost everything possible at club level for FC Barcelona although his Liverpool career somewhat lacked club trophies. That didn’t stop him from winning multiple golden boots and other awards at Liverpool.

Apparently, he also strikes FC Barcelona’s bank account each and every week.

Suarez is placed #5 on this list as he earns a whopping £290,000 weekly.

💸4: Antoine Griezmann

One of the best players in the world at the moment,it’s no surprise that Griezmann finds himself on this list.

Griezmann is a world cup winner with France as well as a European cup runner up.

He has also won numerous club level trophies including the UEFA Europa league in his former club Atletico Madrid in which he was runner-up for the UEFA champions league twice.

He moved to FC Barcelona last year and a lot of people feel that he is chasing trophies and more silverware. With this weekly wage though, are we sure it’s not money that moved him over there?.

Griezmann earns about £294,000 weekly at FC Barcelona which sees him placed at #4.

💸3: Gareth Bale

A Welsh international as well as a very successful individual, Gareth Bale is currently living the dream at Real Madrid.

Career wise, Bale has done a fantastic job. In current club Real Madrid, he has won multiple silverware including four UEFA champions league trophies, two Spanish league trophies and multiple Spanish cups.

At his former club Tottenham Hotspur, he may not have won any club trophy but he won multiple individual trophies including the famous PFA Player of the year.

A lot of people currently criticise Bale for being injury prone and not playing a lot of matches but I personally wouldn’t mind all that as long as I’m being paid this much every week.

Gareth Bale earns a whopping £350,000 weekly.

💸2: Eden Hazard

One of the Best football players in the world as well as Real Madrid’s new golden boy, Eden Hazard is currently living his dream in his dream club.

Real Madrid have been after Eden Hazard for quite some time during his time in Chelsea FC. They finally signed him last year for a huge amount indeed.

Eden has taken long to adjust to his new club and up until this moment I feel he hasn’t reached his best. He has had issues with his weight gain in the past at Real Madrid but who wouldn’t when they pay you so much. Although he has worked on himself and is looking better and better each time we see him play.

Talking about his wages, Hazard is currently earning about £400,000 weekly which sees him take the #2 spot.

💸1: Lionel Messi

Arguably the best football player in the history of the sport along his long time rival and friend Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi’s position on this list is very much merited.

In the sport called Football, Messi has won it all at club level. I can’t think of any individual or club honour that Messi does not possess and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

Messi has 6 FIFA Ballon D’or awards to his name which sees him above any other player in history, he also has multiple UEFA champions league trophies, numerous Spanish league trophies and Spanish cups, and so much more.

At international level though, Messi has struggled to lift silverware but this doesn’t affect his individual performance. He is currently the highest goal scorer in the history of his country Argentina as well as among the top goal scorers at international level in the whole world.

Messi takes top spot on this list, earning £500,000 weekly. This is funny because on just two weeks, Messi will be counting £1 million.

Conclusion

As you can see, these players are doing very well financially in their current clubs.

One thing they all have in common is that they are extremely talented which is why they are very much valued in their current clubs and earn so much weekly.
