Popular Nigerian dance queen, Kaffy, went on earlier today to condemn ’s latest dance ‘Soapy’, but this didn’t go well with fans of the rapper as they lashed out at Kaffy for condemning ’s new dance.

The dance style, tagged “Soapy Dance”, is a dance that mimics a man “masturbating”, and this has seen men act immorally in public, even to the extent of sexually harassing women in the process of doing the dance.

Kaffy said the dance is a “disgusting immoral dance”, especially for kids. She said it “should never be encouraged.”

She added:
“This is a No . #myopinion As dancers we should also speak for what is right we shouldn’t encourage this for the sake of trend. Esp when it’s not even censored away from kids ,as an adult sef it’s offensive. #rubbish.”

Dancer, Don Flexx also joined in condemning the dance.

But a number of people criticized Kaffy and her supporters. They told her the “One Corner” dance from Ghana was a hit and no one condemned it yet she’s trying to condemn something a Nigerian came up with.

In the early eighties Fashek, who at the time went by the stage name Rajesh Kanal, joined the group Jastix with McRoy Gregg, and Drummer Black ‘Rice. They were best known as the in-house band on the show Music Panorama on NTA Benin, and toured with fellow reggae group The Mandators.

In 1988, shortly after Jastix disbanded Fashek, who now used the name Majek Fashek, signed with Tabansi Records and began a solo career by releasing the album Prisoner of Conscience and quickly became ’s top reggae artist after the song “Send Down The Rain” became the most popular song of the year, and in 1989 he won six PMAN awards for “Song of the Year”, “Album of the Year”, and “Reggae Artist of the Year” among others.

Fashek was married to Rita Fashek who inspired the song “Without You”; the couple had four children together, but have since divorced. In 2015, it was revealed that Fashek was bankrupt and battling drug addiction. After admitting that he needed help, he was admitted into a drug rehabilitation centre in Abuja, but has since recovered, and returned to music.

Rape: Falz calls for nationwide protest, tells Nigerians what to do Falz e1560029094608

Popular Nigerian rapper, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz has called for a nationwide protest over the recent rape allegations and killing of innocent young girls in .

DAILY POST reported that Vera Uwaila Omozuwa, a 100-level Microbiology student of University of Benin, UNIBEN was allegedly raped and murdered by some unknown persons while reading in a Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, worship centre in Benin City.

Her death has since led to reactions and a demand for justice by Nigerians.

However, the general Overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye commiserating with the family of the deceased, promised to assist the Nigeria police to bring justice and arrest the perpetrators of the crime.

Speaking on the development, Falz took to his Twitter page lamenting the spate of injustice in Nigeria.

He further called for a nationwide peaceful protest, adding that he is ready to challenge the government and bring justice to the lost souls.

His tweet read: “It is so exhausting to see injustice continue to thrive time after time. Every time we say NOT AGAIN, and then there is a new story. Enough is enough. It’s too disheartening.

“Justice must be served for the innocent souls we keep on losing. #JusticeForTina #JusticeForUwa.”

The rapper called on Nigerians to become fearless and move out into the streets, adding that siting at home and clamoring for justice on social media is not enough.

“It is important that we as Nigerians are fearless and we are ready to challenge the government through peaceful protests.

“It’s not enough to sit in our houses and post on socials. Justice must be served,” Falz added.
