Ten Premier League Referees and teams they support.

Premier League referees have to remain completely impartial when they are on the field – but most of them do have a club allegiance.
This is a list of 10 Premier League referees and teams they support.
#1 Mike Dean – Tranmere Rovers
Michael Dean is an English professional football referee who officiates primarily in the Premier League. He is based in Heswall, Wirral, and is a member of the Cheshire County Football Association.
He is one of the most meme-able men in football. From his goal ‘celebrations’ to his infamous ‘off you pop’ red card, he has become something of an icon of modern refereeing, and even became the first ever Premier League referee to issue 100 red cards.
He supports Tranmere Rovers in his spare time.
#2 Kevin Friend – Bristol City & Leicester City
Kevin Friend is an English professional football referee based in Leicester. He is a member of the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.
Kevin Friend was infamously removed from Tottenham’s game against Stoke during the 2016 title run-in, because of his soft spot for Leicester.
#3 Martin Atkinson – Leeds United
Martin Atkinson (born 31 March 1971) is an English professional football referee who officiates primarily in the Premier League and also for FIFA . He was born in Bradford, West Riding of Yorkshire, but is now based near Leeds , and is a member of the West Riding County Football Association .

#4 Jonathan Moss – Sunderland
Jonathan Moss is an English professional football referee who officiates primarily in the Premier League having been promoted to the Select Group of Referees in 2011.

Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your content seem to
be running off the screen in Firefox. I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something
to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The style and design look great though! Hope you get the problem solved soon. Many thanks

EPL: Rashford speaks on being compared with Cristiano Ronaldo 20191214 115024

Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, has played down Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s comparison of him and Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting he still has a long way to go to match the Portugal superstar.

Solskjaer said it was “easy” to compare Rashford and Ronaldo, after the England international scored his 13th goal in his last 14 games, in the 2-1 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Rashford has also reached 50 United goals in fewer games than Ronaldo.

“As a forward player ever since I’ve come through, they always compare you with forwards that have been in the past and it’s something that you don’t really have much of an input on.

“All you do is try to do your best on the pitch and then people outside do the talking about it.

“It’s just a thing people like to do with forwards so it’s obviously nice, definitely a compliment. I understand how far I’ve got left to go to reach the heights they reached so I am very clear-minded and just focused on myself,” Rashford said according to ESPN.

EPL: Guardiola sends message to Arteta over taking Arsenal job Pep Guardiola 1024x683

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said Mikel Arteta must decide whether he believes he is ready to step into management.

Arteta has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, following the sacking of Unai Emery in November.

The Spaniard was a candidate to replace Arsene Wenger in 2018, but the Gunners settled for Emery.

Guardiola appointed Arteta as his assistant in 2016 and the club allowed him to speak to Arsenal 18 months ago, while there was interest from Everton and Newcastle in the last year.

“You can be a 45-year-old and believe you’re not ready [to become a manager] and 35 and believe you’re ready. Only he knows.

“I’ve spoken about the situation a few weeks ago, there’s no more to add. I said two weeks ago, he’s got two weeks more experience, so he’s ready,” Guardiola told reporters on Friday.
