The draw for the UEFA Nations was conducted on Tuesday in Amsterdam.

Holders Portugal will play World Cup winners France, Croatia and Denmark.

The same group also contains Croatia, meaning a repeat of the 2018 World Cup final is set to be played.

England have been grouped with Belgium, Denmark and Iceland.

Spain will face Germany in Group A4, while the Netherlands will take on Italy in Group A1.

Wales were drawn in Group B4 alongside the Republic of Ireland.

Portugal won the first edition in , beating the Netherlands 1-0.

The group phase will be played from September to November 2020, with the four group winners from League A qualifying for the finals tournament in 2021.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola’s mother has died from coronavirus.

The club announced this in a statement on Twitter.

The club expressed sadness over the death of Dolors Sala Carrió in Manresa, Barcelona after contracting coronavirus.

The post read: “The Manchester City family are devastated to report the death of Pep’s mother Dolors Sala Carrió in Manresa, Barcelona after contracting coronavirus. She was 82 years old.

City paid tribute and offered its condolences to Guardiola

“Everyone associated with the club sends their most heartfelt sympathy at this most distressing time to Pep, his family and all their friends,” the tweet added.

Guardiola has donated the sum of £920,000 (€1million) to help in the fight against coronavirus in Spain.

The Premier has suspended the /20 season indefinitely amid the coronavirus pandemic and the UK’s lockdown, but remains intent on completing the full campaign.

No Premier League matches have been played since 9 March, and the majority of top-flight teams still have nine games to play to finish their 38-game season.

But with no clear end in sight for the coronavirus pandemic, the League confirmed that it will not return to action in May as had been tentatively scheduled, with no estimation given for when it may return.

The League stressed an intention to complete the season, with clubs in agreement that voiding the entire season was not an acceptable resolution.
