Juventus are desperate to sign £100,000-a-week Chelsea winger

Juventus and AC Milan are keeping tabs on the situation of Hakim Ziyech at Chelsea. The Serie A duo could launch a move for the London giants attacker in the summer transfer window if he continues to fall down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

Morocco international joined the Blues from Ajax last summer, arriving at the London club following a fruitful and productive four-year stint with the Dutch giants. Ajax’s Player of the Year for each of the last three campaigns, the expectations were unsurprisingly high from Hakim when he joined Chelsea.

However, several injuries have hampered his progress at Chelsea, with Ziyech managing to start only 13 of the 32 matches that Blues have played this campaign. While he has been impressed with the creative impetus he has provided, another issue seems to be causing quite a bit of uncertainty for the Moroccan attacker at the club.

The Thomas Tuchel era is underway at Chelsea and the new manager has altered the system of play at London club. This has meant that the competition for places has become more intense, with Hakim at risk of losing his place in the side if he is not consistent. And, keeping a keen eye on such a situation are Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus.

AC Milan are in a precarious situation over the future of Hakan Calhanoglu, who is currently in the final few months of his current contract with the Serie A leaders. While Milan are confident that the Turkish international will pen a renewal, Hakim’s addition could still be a well-advised decision, considering Brahim Diaz is not a certainty to join the club permanently in the summer.
