JORGINHO insists Chelsea had a “great” season “aside from all the criticism” under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
Both Italy midfielder Jorginho, 27, and his ex-Napoli boss Sarri, 60, faced criticism in their first-ever Prmeier League campaign.
But Jorginho believes beating Arsenal in the Europa League final confirmed the Blue’ revival.
The Express quote him as saying: “It’s wonderful to win such an important trophy after a long, tough, difficult season, but I think we deserved it.
“Aside from all the criticism, I think we had a great season.
“We finished third in the Premier League, reached the Final of the Carabao Cup even if we didn’t win it and won this trophy.”

Just last week, though, Abraham suggested a loan return was possible.
He said: “You can never say never. We’ll see what God has in plan for me,”

According to the Daily Mail, the West London club are considering him as a possible candidate for Sarri, who is expected to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge.
